Haiti-Politics: The Senate ratifies the Prime Minister appointed

The Haitian Senate on Friday approved unanimously the selection of Mr. Jean-Max Bellerive as new Prime Minister to form the next government.
The vote was won by a majority of members present at a brief meeting early Friday afternoon, found Haiti Press Network.
Mr. Bellerive served as Minister of Planning and External Cooperation within the Government of Michele D. Pierre-Louis overturned last week by a vote of censure by the Senate.
Mr. Bellerive must also obtain approval from the House of Representatives before presenting the policy of his government before the two chambers.
